What types of content can be searched in elDoc, and how do I perform a search?
The Document Workflow Automation Module leverages profound metadata processing to enable intelligent content searches. After documents complete their workflow and are archived in elDoc storage, metadata is enriched through automated extraction from attachments, analyzed digital forms, and user-defined attributes. This sophisticated metadata framework empowers elDoc to deliver precise, context-aware search capabilities using cutting-edge search algorithms which are called in elDoc as Intelligent Document Search which supports the following:
Full-Text Indexing: Indexes the entire document, including attachments, enables lightning-fast, keyword-based searches across millions of records.
Boolean and Fuzzy Search: Supports Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) for advanced query refinement, includes fuzzy search to handle typos and keyword variations.
Phrase and Proximity Search: Locates exact word combinations with phrase search. Finds words in close proximity to each other for contextual relevancy.
Wildcard Search: Supports flexible queries using wildcards (*, ?), Ideal for partial word searches and keyword variations.
Google-like Search Interface: The more specific and well-defined the search input, the more refined and relevant the outcomes will be.
Search by Tags: Tagging system for organizing and retrieving documents quickly, also for the integration purposes.
- Filter by Metadata: Refines search results using attributes like file type, author, or date range, ideal for narrowing down results from extensive datasets.
How to Perform a Search: To locate specific content, navigate to the Document Workflow Automation Module and select Workflow Status. From there, utilize the search field to perform inquiries using various search criteria to refine your results effectively.
Сontent Search in the Intelligent Document Processing Module. This module integrates extended metadata, leveraging data from AI-processed images, keywords, and tags for advanced search capabilities.
Keyword-Based Search: by keywords which are created during processing to simplify categorization and classification.
Full-Text Indexing: Similar to the Workflow Automation Module, supports fast, comprehensive keyword-based searches.
- Text Extraction from Images and PDFs: ensures even non-editable formats are searchable through OCR after document is processed via the system.
Boolean, Fuzzy, Phrase, Proximity, Wildcard, and Google-like Search, similar to Workflow Automation Module.
Search by Tags: Organize and locate documents through custom tagging.
- Filter by Metadata: Enables precise searches within large datasets, like file type, author, phase, or date range, ideal for narrowing down results from extensive datasets
How to Perform a Search: To locate specific content, navigate to the Document Workflow Automation Module and select AI Processing queue. From there, utilize the search field to perform inquiries using various search criteria to refine your results effectively.
