This section outlines how to implement the four-eyes principle for document deletion, ensuring that no single user can delete a document without oversight. The process involves assigning distinct roles to users in separate groups, so that one user can block a document, while a different user can delete it — but only after it has been blocked.
Go to Group Settings from the Main Menu.
Choose a group and assign a user the Docs RW role.
Save the changes.
In a different group, assign another user the Docs D and Docs R roles.
Save the changes.
The first user can block a document when needed.
The second user can then delete the document, but only after it has been blocked.
This ensures that two different people are always involved in deleting any document.
