Intelligent Document Processing is a quality-driven process where recognition results, specifically accuracy rates, depend significantly on the quality of submitted documents. If the confidence level determined by elDoc falls below the configured threshold set in recognition rules, or if the recognition form is not matched, or other exceptions occur, the elDoc system alerts authorized business users to validate the document as necessary. This ensures that data accuracy is maintained through proactive document validation when automated processes encounter uncertainty or exceptions.

The elDoc system offers robust access rights management capabilities, ensuring that only authorized users have the ability to perform document validation tasks.

To define authorized users for document validation in the elDoc system, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to System settings → Groups → + Add New Group to create a new group.

  2. Assign authorized users to this group. Note that only users with Administrator role have rights to create groups and assign users.

  3. When creating the Group, ensure that the field "Tags" is completed with a self-descriptive name (e.g., Validator).

  4. Navigate to Workflow designer → Process: Recognition Document (this workflow is automatically created once IDP is initialized. If IDP is not initialized, navigate to Forms Management → Click on Init IDP form button).

  5. Enable Edit mode in the Workflow view.

  6. Navigate to the Follow-up workflow phase.

  7. Opposite Initiator, click on Edit to add the respective Group.

  8. From the dropdown list, select "Computed dynamically" and add the Initiator's group with the tag: Validator.

These steps ensure that only authorized users from the designated Validator group can perform document validation tasks within the elDoc system, maintaining security and control over the validation process.
