By default, elDoc IDP assumes that input files (images) are of average to good scanning quality and are pre-processed using default settings optimized for such conditions.
However, elDoc IDP also supports processing images with poor quality, including those with noisy or colored backgrounds, and documents that are twisted or rotated. Such scanned documents may require custom preprocessing settings to enhance their readability and accuracy.
For this purpose, elDoc IDP allows defining custom parameters per RecoForm. When documents designated for processing with a specific RecoForm are encountered, they undergo initial re-processing with these custom settings before undergoing IDP processing.
